Lithuanian Shorts invites to celebrate its 8th birthday and watch TOP8 Lithuanian short films online

Tomorrow, Lithuanian Short Film Agency Lithuanian Shorts will invite the film lovers to celebrate the eighth birthday together. On this occasion, the agency presents a unique opportunity to watch some of the most memorable Lithuanian short films. A programming team of Vilnius International Short Film Festival has prepared a special TOP8 list of Lithuanian short films produced over the past 8 years.

All Thursday Lithuanian cinema lovers will have a chance to watch one of the most remarkable Lithuanian shorts films via Lithuanian Shorts facebook account or Lithuanian news portal 15min.lt from 28 May, Thursday, 10 a.m. until 29 May, Friday, 10 a.m. All films will be with English subtitles.

Lithuanian Shorts is a Lithuanian Short Film Agency, founded in 2012, that provides a systematic and coordinated presentation and promotion of Lithuanian short films nationally and internationally.

Lithuanian Shorts is a multifunctional organisation, involved in publishing of the catalogue of the newest Lithuanian short films, organizing Baltic Short Film Project Pitching Event “Baltic Pitching Forum” (bpf.lt), Vilnius International Short Film Festival (filmshorts.lt), International Short Film Day in Lithuania. Moreover, in 2019 the Agency launched new initiatives – Baltic Short Film Script Development Residency “Baltic Shorts Residency”; “Lithuanian Shorts Mentorship”, a program dedicated to Lithuanian women working in film and TV industries; Open Talks – discussions with the young generation of Lithuanian filmmakers followed by a screening of their short films.

Lithuanian Shorts is a member of a world-wide non-profit association for the short film promotion “Short Film Conference” and the European Network of Short Film and Video Art Distributors “Short Circuit”.
