Born in Vilnius in 1966, Arturas Jevdokimovas studied Television Direction at the Lithuanian Conservatory (present Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre). Graduated from Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University in Tbilisi, Georgia, with a degree in film direction. Worked as an intern in Jonas Mekas’ Film Antology Archives in New York. Founded and led an international short film festival “Tinklai”. “Antology of the Plot”, a documentary about a legendary cafe in Vilnius, received a Silver Crane Prize for the best short film of the year. In his works, he observes life sensitively, attentively and ironically.
