16-year-old Nadav is writing an explicit gay erotica in private, and his mother, Shari, is a fertility botanist studying carrots becomes fascinated and aroused by the particularly seductive Femme Carrot. Through fantasy, music, and tango, the two find themselves overwhelmed with their lust and forced to confront their inner selves.
About the director:
Daniel Sterlin-Altman (he/him) is a Canadian animation filmmaker and activist based in Berlin. Specialising in stop-motion animation, Daniel is a storyteller with an eye for nuance and emotion. His work explores family, sexuality and identity through a range of camp, absurdity, comedy and realism. A Master’s graduate of Filmuniversity Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF in Potsdam, Daniel has directed several independent short films as well as commissioned works that have screened at festivals around the world.
