Burned-out activist Noja shelters a Ukrainian refugee, though she plans to quit volunteering. They re-experience warmth, belonging, and closeness, proving that empathetic persons who once loved and were loved still exist. One night in a Ukrainian city under bombs changes their lives once again.
About the director:
Film Directing Master’s Degree (MA) student at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Previously worked in theatre, opera, journalism and film festivals in Lithuania and abroad. A member of the Vilnius Actors Studio. Present Continuous is her first short, focused on cinematic improvisation.
