About speaker
Rita Stanelyte – producer of film marketing and communication at boutique film marketing company “Mata Hari Comm”. Has an academic background in journalism and public relations and solid experience in film industry. Now she is organizing a film festival in Berlin Litauisches Kino Goes Berlin, helping young filmmakers to be seen at the festivals and in the local cinemas, also works in the NGO of emotional support. Rita is alumni of Locarno Summer academy, EAVE Marketing workshop, “Belt and Road” program of Shanghai IFF, has served as CICAE Jury member of Director’s Fortnight in Cannes 2017.

This talk will explore the ecosystem of the Oscars® from a distributor/sales agent perspective offering useful information from an industry insider. Presenting case studies from the Toronto-based short film distribution and sales company, Ouat Media, this talk will prove invaluable for those wanting to know more about practical details on a short film’s journey to the Oscars®, and a film’s future after the film industry’s biggest night.
About speaker
Inga Diev serves as the General Manager of Ouat Media, a Toronto-based short film distribution and sales company. Recognized internationally as one of the world’s primary destinations for work by the industry’s rising stars, Ouat Media boasts an award-winning catalogue of titles featuring 12 Oscar nominees including 3 Oscar winners to date. In her role, Inga is responsible for the company’s business operations and oversees all the film sales and acquisitions.

The films in this special programme deal with issues that are relative to the young generation of European fimmakers: the consequences of military conflicts on people and nature, the challenges of modern motherhood, the questioning of the frame once imposed on women as well as current expectations from them. This is the result of a collaboration between experienced European production companies and upcoming talents. Supported by Creative Europe MEDIA programme. What do talent agents do? How do they support careers? How do they help producers? How do they help creators? You will find many more questions and answers about the talent agent role at one-day event with talent managers Anna Rozalska, Tarik Hachoud and Aleksandra Aleksander from Match and Spark – Warsaw-based talent management and production company representing over 65 audiovisual creators among them Oscar nominated cinematographer Lucas Zal, whose most recent films are I’M THINKING OF ENDING THINGS (dir. Charlie Kaufman) and COLD WAR (dir. Paweł Pawlikowski).
About speakers
Anna Rozalska co-founded and has been running Match and Spark, a talent management and production company, for 5 years. Between July 2020 and July 2021 Anna served as the director of the Department of Original Productions and Coproductions at Canal+ Poland. In 2016, Screen International listed Anna Różalska as one of the Future Leaders – Agents in their annual Future Leaders list presented around the Cannes Film Festival. She has been named a ‘Woman-to-Watch’ by Sydney Levine and Indie Wire.
Tarik Hachoud is a talent manager, producer and CEO of Match and Spark. Co-producer and consultant for international productions, including „Who Writes Our History”, „In the Name of Honor”, „High Life” and „Struggle: The Life and Lost Art of Szukalski”. He collaborated with Alvernia Studios and Platige Image on project development and analysing film packages at various stages of production. He was also responsible for the acquisition of rights and the literary material selection process.
Aleksandra Aleksander is a junior producer, Polish talent manager and head of the Film and TV department at the talent agency Match and Spark. A. Aleksander has been production manager of dozen short films and music videos, as well as the latest production of American director Roberta Grossman, shot in Poland.

This part is dedicated to the individual meetings with talent managers Anna Rozalska, Tarik Hachoud and Aleksandra Aleksander from Match and Spark. The goal of the meetings is to answer the questions which you have about talent agents, share your profile and ask questions about your representation or career development opportunities.
The one-to-one meetings will last up to 15 minutes and they require prior registration, because spaces are limited.
