Alexei is released on probation after 15 years in prison. He is assisted by a sympathetic social worker. Vilnius at night is full of provocative situations. It is difficult for Alexei to accept the new order. He restrains himself and tries not to follow the old bandit habits. Depressed by guilt, he tries to come to terms with his daughter Maja, who has become a prostitute. However, every attempt has failed.
About the director:
Rinaldas Tomasevičius is an up-and-coming film director and screenwriter. Before taking up film directing, he himself lived on the street like a homeless man. Only 9 years ago, he has escaped from this hell. That’s the main reason he makes films that convey in a very real way the emotions and aspirations of a society that is unacceptable to the public. R. Tomasevičius obtained a BA in film directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2022 and continues his studies in the MA program. His debut film “Last Time” is currently on its way to the international film festivals.
