Caitlin, a 6-year-old girl, navigates her life amidst the commotion of her family’s arguments in a Hokkien dialect she doesn’t understand. She tries to make sense of the confusing pressures and emotions around her through the rhythmic sound of a ping pong ball.
About the director:
Andrew Kose is a writer and director known for his short films, which have been screened at various local and international festivals, including the 2023 Not Film Fest, SeaShorts Film Festival 2020, and Festival Film Indonesia. His short film RINGROAD (2021) won the Jakarta Film Fund Award at Jakarta Film Week 2021. In 2023, Kose directed his first original series, CinLock: Love, Camera, Action!, and was selected for the Netflix Series Pitch Lab 2023. He is currently developing his first feature film, which was pitched at Platform Busan 2024, and has recently attended talent labs such as the International Film Camp (AFAA) and Fantastic Film School (BIFAN).
