Bathers enjoy the sunshine on the beach. Suddenly a “foreign body” appears in this idyllic setting. A man struggles on shore with the last of his strength. Everyone stiffens, time seems to stand still, nobody moves. Director Ronny Trocker draws his inspiration from a photograph by Juan Medina taken on the beach of Gran Tarajal in Spain in 2006. The subject couldn’t be more topical. Apathy that makes you hold your breath.
