In spring 2020 Ukraine was quarantined. Last years I`ve been coming home only on holidays, and now I have to stay here for real. In my head, home was always the same as when I was a child. However, my memories became a thing of the past when I faced the cruel reality.
About the director:
Olena Kyrychenko was born in Novovolynsk, Volyn region. In 2017 went to Kyiv National I.K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, specialization: Directing of photography. The short documentary movie “The Earth is Spinning” is not only a director of photography work, but also a debut as a director of documentary film.
