Villeneuve-Lès-Maguelone, Saturday morning. Raoul, a young teenager, is waiting for Serge, with whom he is to spend the weekend. Torn between his impatience to reconnect with this man he knows so little about and his contempt for this atypical, crazy father, Raoul must find his way during a road trip through the shallows of his childhood ponds.
About the director:
As a screenwriter and director, Jennifer Fanjeaux develops a style of cinema that is both sensitive and raw, focusing on children’s view of dysfunctional parental figures. After studying history and joining the CEEA and La Fémis, she wrote for television and cinema, before moving on to directing with The Juggler (2025). She is currently working on her second short film, Du sel sur la plaie, while developing two feature films supported by the CNC.
