Bordeaux, 1987, Christmas Eve. Linda (5), Biram (9) and Roger (20) live away from their mother who stayed in Gabon. While the eldest son treats himself to a weekend getaway, his siblings, left to their own devices, see snow for the first time and put themselves in danger.
About the director:
Linda Lô is a French-Senegalese director born in 1982 and raised by her brothers in Bordeaux, France. A Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs graduate, she lived in Rio, Brazil, and Dakar, Senegal, before working for the United Nations in New York. She started to write and act after a life-changing intensive at NYU Tisch School.
She has worked as a screenwriter in Paris for years, and she loves exploring childhood, the immigrant experience, and geopolitics. WE HAD FUN is her directorial debut.
